A fundação criada em 2008, sem fins lucrativos, é uma instituição cultural privada e financeiramente independente, cujos objectivos se situam na área das artes plásticas.

Como centro pluridisciplinar, através do museu, da galeria e da página na internet, tem por missão apoiar, promover artistas e sensibilizar o público para a arte contemporânea.

A criação da fundação deu iníco a uma parceria inovadora com os artistas implementando um novo conceito de prémio artístico e apoiando o projecto Extéril nas suas múltiplas acções.

A administração da fundação está confiada ao director geral por tempo indeterminado.

O director geral é responsável pelo controlo de contas com decisão unilateral.

A fundação não é obrigada a encerrar por falta de fundos.

As aquisições da fundação são da responsabilidade do director geral.

The Foundation, created in 2008,  non commercial (non lucrative ends), is a private cultural institution and independent financially, with objectives located within the artistic practices.

As a pluridisciplinar center, through the museum, gallery and website, has as mission to support and promote artists works and raise awareness of the public to contemporary art.

With its creation, the Foundation initiated an innovative partnership with artists through a new concept for artistic prize and support of the multiple actions of Extéril.

The administration of the Foundation is confined, for undetermined period of time, to its General Director.

The Foundation is not obliged to closure due to lack of fundings.

All acquisitions of the Foundations are responsibility of the General Director.
